Click is a 2006 American comedy film directed by Frank Coraci, written by Steve Koren and Mark O’Keefe, and produced by Adam Sandler, who also stars.
The story is based on “The Magic Thread”, a folk tale included in The Book of Virtues. Sandler plays Michael Newman, a workaholic family man who acquires a magical universal remote that enables him to control reality. The film co-stars Kate Beckinsale as his wife Donna and Christopher Walken as Morty, the eccentric stranger who gives Michael the remote.
I know this makes me someone no one should take any movie advice from…
but I give this movie a perfect 10/10…
solely for the “and Beyond” joke about “Bed, Bath and Beyond”.
That bit is comedy gold. I will die needlessly on that hill.
I should probably head back over to DadJokes now.
I give this movie a 10/10 for the smokin hot early 30’s Kate Beckinsale.

I love Adam Sandler as an actor, and I think this is one of his best movies.
Love this movie
This movie traumatized me as a kid
I legit cried during this movie. Didnt expect that from Sandler. I underestimated him as an actor for sure.
The story about the magic thread (or ball of yarn, as it was told to me) was one of my favorite fables, so I got talked into going to see this movie on the big screen.
I can tell you there was a magic remote, and Adam Sandler, and a Bed, Bath, and Beyond, but I couldn’t tell you anything else about it. I always think of it as one of the least memorable movies I’ve ever seen.
But I suppose now’s my chance to try again.
I remember crying because he missed his life and I remember someone ripping tags out of new clothing
I remember “You don’t need a Twinkie. You don’t need it…you do need a Yodel though” or something like that; a dietary argument with himself while rummaging for food. Still pops into my head from time to time when doing the same.
That and Christopher Walken. And Samwise the swim coach.
All I remember is Adam Sandler playing with his “stomach flaps” after liposuction. I don’t really have a desire to watch this again.
It’s coming back to me now! I think there was this whole sequence where he was fat, and that was the joke
