I’m not someone who stresses about frames very much, but going back to Bloodborne at 30fps feels bad.
Ah yes, an ironbeard.
Exactly. Motivation burns out. It’s why most attempts at dieting and exercising don’t make it a month.
For best results, it takes discipline, smaller and more specific goals (e.g. “run this far per week” rather than “be skinnier”), and learning to love the process so that it doesn’t feel like as much work.
I’ve kept a beard for years, but I’ve always trimmed and maintained it short enough that this isn’t a problem, with the bonus that it also doesn’t look scraggly. It’s a happy medium.

You don’t want to see another polished turd with ray tracing?
Ah that’s right. It’s been so long.
The closest I’ve felt to those monumental leaps in recent history was the first time I played VR. It feels similarly mind-blowing.
I didn’t either, but that’s the initial story hook isn’t it?
Heading out to find your dad. Or am I remembering wrong?
That’s pretty spot on for my experience. I only had 3: 1 gray, 1 red, and 1 translucent purple off brand.
(edit: the red one was the one with a drifty joystick, but for some reason it was my favorite)
