So we moved from the US to Scandinavia, so our days are MUCH shorter than they were.
My wife brought up a nice point that’s brought me comfort in our just after 3pm sunsets.
We get long nights, and nights are fun! More time for the bar with friends, slow deliberate cooking at home, video games, hanging inside. And those are some of the things I like. It does feel fun to have the days getting longer for sure, but it’s not like a good and a bad season, just different seasons
4pm sunsets here in the US. My favorite part is holiday lights come on and you don’t have to be up/out late to see them
It’s such a milestone date for me in the year, I feel a huge optimism knowing things will get better as each day goes by. Short days are really bad for me.
