Fox propaganda is playing on TVs 24/7 in airports, gyms, bars, hospitals, nursing homes and even military bases. If you see Murdoch’s trash such as Fox or one of his other channels on a public TV ask that they change the channel or change it yourself if you can. It’s time to do put a stop to it.

For changing the channel on a TV that you don’t have the remote to (ex: public TV or nursing home TV) your smartphone might be able to do it if it has an IR blaster. If your phone doesn’t support that there are USB-C dongles you can buy that I believe can do it. Another option is to buy a universal remote. Also for some smart TVs it might be possible to download the app and use that to control the TV.

Also especially if your parents/grandparents are elderly, or have dementia or Alzheimer’s consider setting up parental control on their TV to block Fox News and other right wing channels. It’s important to protect their health. I’d say this will depend on their situation but I trust that you’ll know if this is the right thing to do based on that person’s unique situation.

If you work for a hospital or nursing home maybe try advocating for a facility wide ban of Fox News and other right wing channels. I sincerely believe it will improve health outcomes.

Also when the image was made the percentage of scientists who accept climate change was 97%. Now I’m seeing multiple sources say the percentage is 99%. https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/1748-9326/ac2966 https://theconversation.com/the-97-climate-consensus-is-over-now-its-well-above-99-and-the-evidence-is-even-stronger-than-that-170370

Wow! Thank you so much for making that! I got the image from Wikipedia. It’s even worse than I thought. I think the article on Wikipedia should be updated.

ah sure enough! on the actual page it has text underneath which provides the missing data

Among climate scientists in 2013, 97% of peer-reviewed papers that took a position on the cause of global warming said that humans are responsible, while 3% said they were not. Among Fox News guests in late 2013, this topic was presented in a contrarian way, with 31% of invited guests believing it was happening and 69% not.[1]
