    This is why I have long laughed right in the faces of stupid qons parroting bullshit from their thought leaders that revolved around “Big Tech” and acting like that and the “Deep State” were liberal and in cahoots with…checks notes…progressives.

    What a ridiculous idea. And it’s always been absurd. Nearly all of “Big Tech” is about pursuing MONEY. It’s neutral, at most, and the fact that they are being run by billionaires means it threatens democracy and is not even going to be neutral in most efforts. They may do some performative pinkwashing or greenwashing or DEI-washing, but that means sweet fuckall.

    Their platforms enable Russian and qon propaganda to spread quickly, and their algorithms not only do nothing to stop it, they maximize the exposure to it.
