On Thursday, Google announced a new AI-powered search feature for Gmail. It seems to work well, but if you miss the old search results, you can have them back.
For me it has been this way on mobile and tablet for at least a year, and I didn’t find a way to turn it off. It gives the results in a completely random order, making older things impossible to find.

Thunderbird for mobile is great! And in contrast to the gmail app, search actually works, lol
