    The “M” Word?

The word traces back to the days of “freak shows” in the 1800s when people referred to short-statured performers for public amusement. Freak shows became less popular in the early 1900s. Still, people continued to use the word in other demeaning entertainment shows, such as “m----- wrestling.”

I don’t really care but the term seems to be generally disliked by people with dwarfism.
