I grew up on comics and was there all through the rest of the MCU, but this last bit just made me cancel my D+ subscription and stop caring about anything Disney is shoveling out. It’s not superhero fatigue, it’s bad writing fatigue that takes its audience for granted and assumes we’re too stupid to notice. Secret Invasion was the last straw for me, I absolutely hated it week after week and I was just like, “Why am I doing this to myself? Fuck it, I’m going to wait this out until they put more effort into their dumb writing.”

Ok maybe we have to be honest - it’s a big universe. And in every universe there’s going to be a balance of great stuff, and not so great.
