    The trouble with most of the mechanisms of the US government is that they’re built around the assumption that the majority of politicians are acting in good faith. When one major party decides that winning is more important than integrity, the whole thing breaks down.

    That being said, I really don’t know what can be done about it that wouldn’t also be fascist or at least undemocratic
