WASHINGTON — Enrique Tarrio, the former chairman of the far-right Proud Boys, was sentenced to 22 years in federal prison Tuesday afternoon following his conviction on a seditious conspiracy charge in connection with the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.

    OTOH, as a prominent neo-Nazi he’ll probably have a lot of friends there, both among the inmates and the guards - he’s going to be the private cell / loyal underlings / anybody who messes with you gets beat up type of prisoner.

    (everybody gets all inappropriately crow-y about what happens to child molesters in prison, but it’s also worth pointing out when that system works the opposite way)

      Definitely a possibility. But surely there are some guards who don’t take well to the assault on the Capitol Police.
