I need to get a second phone for work. I’m set on a galaxy as I’m really interested in dex mode.

How is getting an s22 used these days? Are there any common problems I should be on the lookout for? Also, the battery health in some screenshots shows 32%, etc. does that mean the battery needs to be replaced right away? This will be my first Android.

If you can skip premium phones from this year, you’ll get noticably better battery life. The Samsung fabbed Snapdragon 8Gen1 is kind of a dog. 8+Gen1 and 8Gen2 were fabbed by TSMC, and deliver a significantly better performance per watt.

I would have gone newer, but the price is significantly higher for an s23, almost double.

But as long as it has reasonable battery life I’m OK.

I’ll mainly use my iPhone 15 and I’m work from home, so I’ll rarely be away from power while using it.

I’ll search again though, maybe I don’t look hard enough.
