    eh, plastic memories is to sad anime what Michael Bay is to explosions.

    too on the nose, in your face, and not very clever with it. they beat you over the head with “look at how sad this is” the whole time and it loses its impact.

      But I still cried at the end even though I knew what was going to happen.

      It’s like a slow motion trainwreck. You can see it happening but you can’t stop it.

        to the problem was more that it was too fast. came on too strong and quickly with trying to make you sad without getting you into the world or characters first. like there was nothing to the show outside of it trying to bate you into feeling sad.

        that said, I’m glad you liked it. not trying to shit on you. i like one piece and that anime is objectively yeah.
