I was really surprised to see the B1m, a mega project channel i follow, cover a project in my back yard…
I liked the video they have done, and loved to see this project.
Overall i think its a good coverage of the project. highlighting the floating roadways to minimize impact was appreciated. Still think its odd how many people dont like the project…
During construction, people and especially businesses owners haaaaate the subway. Can’t live with it, want to move off the street it’s on, bitch that they can’t unload their worthless properties. Why would the city do this to hurt them specifically?
A few short months after construction’s over, people and especially business owners love the subway. Can’t live without it, want to move onto the street it’s on, bitch they can’t unload their worthless properties a block from the train. Why would the city do this to hurt them specifically?
I live near one of the major station projects and I can definitely understand all the criticism from the local businesses, foot traffic is heavily impacted.

Still worth it in the long run though.
yea, there will always be an impact to traffic, which sucks, but theres really no way to do large scale construction WITHOUT an impact.
Dont doubt that the benefit will outweigh the negatives within a year.
