The first Chick-fil-A within the Portland city limits will open in a strip club that served as the stage for a deadly April 1 shooting, according to police reports and a design review recently approved by the City of Portland.

It isn’t opening in a strip club, they’re turning the location of a closed strip club into a restaurant.

Have you seen Idiocracy? There are scenes in it that show fast food + a strip club. I think it’s funny that Chick-fil-A, which is ran by a pretty religious org, is opening one there. I don’t give a shit at all that they are doing it, I just thought the relevance to Idiocracy was funny and should be commented on. So based on your comment, I’m assuming you either haven’t seen Idiocracy, or don’t remember that part, or thought my comment was somehow morally against what they are doing. Either way, I think you took what I meant wrong.

I have, and having a strip club with food or a restaurant wasn’t an Idiocracy invention. So yeah I guess you did notice a common theme and then tied it to Idiocracy for some reason. Definitely not to call people idiots though.

Maybe not the most important part of the article, but who is going to a Chick-fil-a in a strip club?? Their target market is people coming home from church

No, it clearly isn’t. Their target market has never been about serving people after church.

They’ve been closed on Sunday’s since its inception, I believe.

Their target audience is people who virtue signal the loudest.

Why do people just make shit up? Like seriously, what drove you to invent such an insane story?

“Such an insane story”? Its was like hyperbole, it’s not secret that Chick-fil-a caters to the Christian crowd

No they don’t. They quietly contributed funds until it became a political story. I have never once had to say grace, had to buy a bible patty, they don’t give preferential treatment or discounts to christians, they didn’t get a shorter line. They donated to a shitty organisation and the rest is invented in your head.

Chick-fil-a donating money to those organizations is how they catered to the christian audience. They no longer donate to them, but they still have that reputation.

Regardless, I was making a funny comment very early in the morning and you’re attacking it with such a bizarre energy. Do you want to eat their chicken without feeling bad? Don’t let me stop ya
