I think it you actually talk to folks there aren’t a ton of strict ancaps but your definition. Most of them work towards building strong voluntary local communities to support each other. Most of them would support local taxes. I have yet to meet an actual strict ancap as you describe IRL. You seem to be casting a wide net based on the most extreme end of the spectrum.

The Internet even pre social media was the end for globalism and what most of the west thinks of the good days (yes I realize it was far from perfect but you can submit the trend has gone changed downwards with regards to global stability). While yes it gives people the ability to safely explore and learn it more often gives a voice to shitty dumb and uneducated opinions and ideas without repercussions. Add social media and essentially the digital communications wars governments and zealots are engaging in at a scale we’ve never seen.

There are pros and cons to this but big tech has realized they can bury classic medical informatics companies on the small cheap medical stuff. Watches such monitor vitals, thermometers, hearing aids, snoring and breathing, etc. All of it is desired by the mass market. I bought my dad a pixel watch after he had his bypass is a (arguably) useful device that can actually save your life.
