Squirrels with peanuts are a nightmare. They dig up and throw potted plants around in their frenzy to bury their score, then forget where they put it and do more destruction.
Yeah, not to rain on the HOA meeting in the comments, but I’d be the one spreading peanuts for all the squirrels. I just put cashews in my tree to lure one closer.

I deal with stuff like this about 2 days a week
They also love to do this with pumpkin seeds. I was hoping for more volunteer pumpkin plants than it resulted in last year.
