The Polish Prime Minister has demanded an explanation from Berlin over an “unacceptable" incident at Poland’s border with Germany German police reportedly drove a family of Afghan migrants across the border and abandoned them on Polish soil. Local news site Chojna24.pl published a video which purportedly showed a German police van entering Polish territory on June 14. The video then showed the van dropping off five people in a car park in the Osinow Dolny district. Eyewitnesses quoted by the website said the police van then immediately drove back to Germany. Watch the video to find out more.

The article above should be more “polish refugees left alone in Poland by German police” rather than the current one which suggests that Germany is getting rid of its migrants illegally.
Tbf, it sounds like neither side did a stellar job here.
Poland not reacting “for several hours” makes it sound almost deliberate.
Then again, I wonder how German police “informed” Poland for there to be no reaction. Did they fax?
If they think the situation requires an immediate reply, why not call them? Surely a dedicated border patrol unit would have a contact number.
Also, despite Schengen I don’t think police can just cross the border to another state unless in pursuit of some fleeing criminal.
And just dumping these people in some random location without any involvement of local authorities doesn’t seem like proper protocol.
No, they sent a carrier pigeon. One of their best, named ‘Gesprenkelt Jimi’
