Nothing I believe more than a person who claims to have evidence, threatens to release it, and then never releases it while still claiming to have it.

    Suuuuuuper believable.

It’s literally the exact same thing as we all heard someone growing say their “girlfriend” just goes to a different school. So of course no one would know her.

I had a friend like this. Funny thing is…this was high school. Some of us had cars. She only supposedly lived two cities over. I could have taken him to her house or picked them up any time they wanted. But there was always an excuse. She has to work. Got grounded at home. There was always something.

People didn’t believe him for long, but he kept trying to convince us of her existence for months. Nobody in our circle ever met her.

When I was 17 I got drunk at a concert and met and eventually hooked up with some girl who went to a rival high school of ours.

The next day I didn’t even really remember her name and thought nothing of it because not much happened (just making out and mutual groping, we were at a concert).

A few weeks later another friend comes up to me and is like “wait, you’re dating Mary from [rival school]” and I’m like “who the hell is that?”

“She’s been telling everyone in her school that’s she’s dating you.”

I was the boyfriend in another school that you wouldn’t know. Problem is that the cousin of one of her friends was my friend and did know me.
