It seems weird to target those consoles. They are wildly different.
Right? Dreamcast is a 90s 32 bit system with plenty of RAM and compute power, NES is an 80s 8 bit system with so high of a constraint that you must program in its native assembly.
I remember the Micro Mages devs making a whole video on a ton of stuff that they had to optimize for their game just to fit it into a 40kb cartridge, and they still didn’t cover it all.
