    What I recall at the time was there was a concern that a new independent Scotland wouldn’t automatically be an EU member, and this likely swung the vote against independence.

    Ironic, considering.

    If the referendums for Brexit and Scottish independence had been held in reverse order, I’d imagine we’d have seen a very different result.

    I can imagine that there remains a lot of frustration in Scotland over this, enough to eventually push for a redo.
