Hurrah for them, but how depressing that this was necessary.
We live in a world where treating people with decency is seen by many as insurrection against the natural order (“people other than me should be PUNISHED for not being me!”). Of course it is necessary.
I didn’t say it wasn’t necessary. I said it’s depressing that it was.
You can replace ‘necessary’ in my above post with ‘depressing’ and it also works :D
