Donald Trump’s popular vote total has fallen below 50 percent, and his margin over Kamala Harris has narrowed considerably as all the votes are counted.
IMO the headline is kind of bad. There’s lots of people that don’t understand majority vs plurality. He’s still winning the plurality of votes. A better headline would be “Donald Trump Has Won a Plurality, NOT a Majority of the Votes Cast for President” or something.
