minus-squareNOT_RICK@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up5·1 month agoIs the original cut worth watching? I saw it had middling reviews but the premise seems novel enough.
minus-squareimpynchimpy@lemmy.worldOPlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up9arrow-down1·1 month agoThe premise is…unique. The film is preposterous, but strangely watchable.
minus-squareentropicdrift@lemmy.sdf.orglinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up5·1 month agoFeels like a good summary of most of the “meh” Shyamalan movies
minus-squarestephen01king@lemmy.ziplinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 month agoWas After Earth watchable? My memory seems to recall otherwise.
minus-squareentropicdrift@lemmy.sdf.orglinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 month agoI wouldn’t call that a “meh” movie, no.
minus-squarestephen01king@lemmy.ziplinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 month agoOk, so that’s just me, then. I remembered not liking it back then, but I can’t even remember why at this point lol.
minus-squareentropicdrift@lemmy.sdf.orglinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 month agoNo, sorry, what I mean is it’s terrible. “Meh”, at least in my mind, means middling. Not terrible, but not actively good either.
minus-squarestephen01king@lemmy.ziplinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·1 month agoI see, that makes a lot more sense now. And I agree, that movie is terrible.
minus-squareaStonedSanta@lemm.eelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 month agoThe happening was such a pile of shit lol 😆
minus-squarenop@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 month agoI liked it just fine. Expected/predicted a bigger twist.
minus-squareOrbital@infosec.publinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4arrow-down4·1 month agoDon’t waste your time. It’s possibly the worst movie I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen a lot. My impression was that they tried to make a horror-comedy for the Gen Z TikTok crowd but forgot or failed to make it either scary or funny.
