    No amount of regulations will prevent bad actors.

    The only way to ensure your data is contained is to control where it’s stored and how it’s transmitted.

    So no, it’s not a “patch”, it’s a layer of security.

    Or are you telling me companies that keep all their data on prem are doing it wrong?
