I meant the USB power coming from dock to charge port on laptop. If you mean USB (thunderbolt) out for display then it migtht not be bidirectional for power. My HP has a USB-C thunderbolt but the power cord has the USBC and barrel power in one plug since the USBC can’t charge the laptop.
Oh I know it is not good. Even my Honda Fit has a messed up lock system, its almost like a sideways roller switch without a truly discernable lock/unlock position so in tu dark you can’t tell if it is rolled forward or not. Messes us up when we are in the passenger seat and son:t have the powelock handy
USB Cable connection, power failing? Is drive set to power down on idle and then falling off the radar?
WSL is fine for doing ssh type stuff or simple things but it is wonky for full distro use experience.
I have an HP zbook. Fan did that a few times, almost like it didn’t recognize power control and defaulted to a higher fan speed. Booting to windows and then back to Linux fixed it. Not sure why.
Is the office and thee charge rated at enough wattage, and is the USB cable a heavy duty power cable intended for the machine or some cheap cable?
I get it, my friend has ModelS. He showed me the mechanical release, when I asked about loss of power. It is not intuitive.
I agree. Some people aren’t level headed in a panic scenario. They need glow in the dark arrows like the markings on jet planes pointing to the canopy release
It is because people don’t get a full walk through of how to unlatch it later on…they might on delivery day but at that point people are excited about a new car and not paying attention. And then because they never use it, they forget it exists
Uni students temporarily need passes to leave campus grounds…wow…we take our freedom for granted
You can have mountains i n BC, you don’t need to live downtown Vancouver to see them. Lots of rural areas
Yes, especially If you are established in an area with a community. We moved across country East side to West side. You lose family, friends, and it is hard to reintegrate since people already have their own circles. Job changes or job hunting, plus costs of moving drain your accounts.
Lenovo did this when they bought Iomega NAS devices. The final firmware before they ended support added google ads to the web admin interface. So now I have it booting Debian and OpenMediaVault, bye bye Lenovo.
Could be because the decision to move and be accepted takes time and some of the biden moves were initiated by the trump presidency
SID was a chip with both digital and analog sides to the die and can do a lot of things still, making them sought after. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOS_Technology_6581
I was lucky that my work software had a Linux version, so since 2017 was able to use Linux all day. Recently I needed Windows for a software. It is hell dealing with Windows interface again (it has a terrible workflow), and constant push of nonsense AI in apps, etc
Hawaii. Beautiful scenery, culture, food. Florida has a beach yes , but also ugly cities and some terrible. floridians
I Bussed tables a long time ago. Plate stacking was helpful if the patron did it as plates only, but some patrons try handing you a stack of plates that have silverware sandwiched in between and it makes it precarious
Wow that is a gorgeous image
