Stumbled upon this post after you linked it from the c/insanePeopleFacebook community. I must have missed this post months ago and had no idea all these things were going on with you. Thanks for sharing your story and getting an opportunity to vent it out! I hope you make more gradual progress and get some peace in your life for you and your fam. Best of luck dude.

I didn’t know that there was a Gracie Abrams and Taylor collaboration. Here’s their performance of the song “us” during the Eras Tour in London. First discovered Gracie when I saw her as one of the opening acts for the first round of the Eras Tour in the States. This was a pleasant surprise and another album I need to go check out.

The sacred texts! Is this why Payless Shoes is no longer around? Because we minimated them?
Oh hopefully there’s another film! I’m really fortunate I got to see the Eras tour live, but this was way before TTPD was added to the concert.
The ultimate gamer high is to take a deep breath from the Steam Deck exhaust, lick a Switch cartridge, hold your breath, and then chug down a G Fuel.
The song in this TV spot is a variation of a released song and was made exclusively for the purpose of this TV spot. This version was never released.
The original song is “Still With Me” by Tritonal feat. Cristina Soto.
Kellog also married, never had sex with his wife or consummated their marriage, and the pair adopted like 30 kids or something like that.
So clearly, corn flakes works. But ideally, corn starch is the way to keep those urges down.
Keep them down, dude. “Conceal, don’t feel” as Elsa from Frozen would say (and seriously, do not feel because that specifically strengthens urges).
Careful mate. Thick water is fine. But thicc water sounds like urge avoision. Better add more corn starch homie.
Did you also graduate from Hollywood Upstairs Medical School, too?
While there will always be variances that depend on the person, most hospitals and health providers recommend the top of the monitor to be at or below eye level.
“Place the computer monitor straight in front of you, directly behind your keyboard, about an arm’s length away from your face. The monitor should be no closer to you than 20 inches (about 50 centimeters) and no further away than 40 inches (about 100 centimeters). The top of the screen should be at or slightly below eye level. If you wear bifocals, lower the monitor an additional 1 to 2 inches (about 2 to 5 centimeters) for more comfortable viewing.” Source: Mayo Clinic : Office Ergonomics - https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/adult-health/in-depth/office-ergonomics/art-20046169
I see you had the urge to post this. You need more cornstarch. Please comply.

Great, now my urges won’t stay down.
Definitely not ergonomic as others have stated. In good practice when working at a desk (or even gaming), the top of the monitor should be at your eye level. Only your eyes should look downward, not your head. The monitor in general should be about one arm’s length distance from your body - this varies depending on monitor size, resolution, et cetera.
From my personal anecdotal experience, while one would think that having the monitor’s center at eye level is great, it was uncomfortable during a long gaming session. I would crane my neck up to look at certain things on the UI at the top of the screen when I should have just glanced with my eyes. After I switched to the ergonomic method of having top of the monitor at eye level, it has dramatically improved my comfort and ergonomics.
There’s too many words in this meme that’s making me dizzy from all your fancy science leechcraft, wizard.
I reject your reality and substitute my own: the feather falls faster. It’s more streamlined than the bowling ball, and thus it slips through the vacuum much faster and does hit the ground and stay on the ground, I think. The ball will bounce at least once, maybe even three times. On each bounce, parts of it probably break off, which change the weight. Thankfully those broken pieces won’t hurt anyone because they’re sucked up by the vacuum. Thus, rendering your dungeon wizard spells ineffective against me.
100% agree. Candidly after I wrote this comment, I got an itch to start replaying the Arkham games so I could feel like my favorite version of Batman voiced by Conroy. I definitely need to play them again, especially because I played all of them apart from Arkham Knight for some reason.
Since you said “up there for sure”, I guess that’s fine. My promise of riot has now simmered into measured acceptance.
Like you’re at a restaurant waiting for your food. A waiter comes by and you think it’s your order and you start to get excited, but they move in a slightly different angle from you which instantly alerts you that it’s not your order. So now you have to temper your reactions and pretend that you were not fooled that your order was coming to you. This leads to you carefully measuring your movements and reactions in the event someone in the restaurant was observing you, so as not to impress upon them that you, a stranger, were deceived and instead were merely adjusting your posture while you waited patiently. That’s the level of measured acceptance I have right now.
More seriously though - That’s a game I wanted to try out but never played. On my “next play” list I had Advance Wars on it, so I’ll toss FF Tactics on there to give it a go. I liked Fire Emblem on 3DS, and having not really played SRPGs before I did enjoy FE. Figure FF Tactics might be interesting and fun, so def will give it a go!
“I am vengeance. I am the night. I am Batman!”
Chills every time with that awesome line delivery, especially with the context of that episode of Batman the Animated Series. RIP Kevin Conroy, we love you.
My eyes naturally found Golden Sun in your comment, so I immediately upvoted before I finished reading your thoughts.
Now I’m curious about Urban Rivals and will check it out since I haven’t played browser games since ~2000-2006.
