How the heck is that even possible? I was forced to get flood insurance on a house that’s nowhere near an ocean just because there is a stream nearby that almost never even has water in it. Getting a damn LOMA processed is confusing as all hell. Do 90+ percent of people not have a mortgage or something?
That’s basically how US flood insurance works. The entire country is mapped out in flood zones based on a every 100 year occurrence. If you’re in the zone you’re required to buy insurance… but it’s bullshit. They have a bunch of inland people paying the same rate as the people’s houses that are on the coast and flood every 5 to 10 years.

I think the big scare is just common questions like… what happens to all of content saved, will it still be accessible? What happens to my Outlook email that my nephew set up? What happens to subscriptions, will my VPN subscription work on Linux? What sort of device management does it have, can I link up my TV the same way?
We are going to have a lot more elderly soon, and not a lot of young people to fulfill these roles. I am not sure making the requirements more stringent is the best answer… I would rather everyone have an aid, rather than half the people having heavily qualified aids.
Maybe they could create some program that just applies to the industry, where there is some form with all that vital information that the state administrates thar the care giver is required to maintain on hand. Free/mandatory CPR classes should be a must also.
Also, if it’s zoom court don’t drive while your zoom court session is going on… seems like it would be obvious, but someone literally did that a few months ago.

I think the way with less overhead is to invent Trump crypto and other financial schemes. People are always looking to make money quick.
But they lean on news so hard for content, it’s very frustrating. They should be required to tip out a percent of their ad revenue to news organizations.
