I took Tuesday and Wednesday off.

Aside from voting, I have some other things to do on Tuesday.

Wednesday is reserved for just sitting and staring. Perhaps some rocking back and forth and curling up in the fetal position. I’ll see how it goes.

Well, he was indicted, so that’s a start. Just have to wait and see if he’s convicted.

As long as the store isn’t a 24x7 operation, at some point they will want to close. If you’re still there, they’ll ask you what you want.

At that point, you panic and run home.

Hopefully the current president won’t be as pathetic as the one who was in the Whitehouse the last time the fascists tried to overthrow the government.

Ridiculous. If your number is skipped, you pick another number and keep waiting.

It was a John Birch Society talking point at one time. It was condemned as a communist conspiracy. Of course. Just like civil rights are a communist conspiracy.

Anyway. A few years ago I discovered that my home town newspaper had digitized all the old issues and made them searchable online. I decided to search for family members.

Found my dad mentioned in a report of a hearing on fluoridation. He was talking about it being a communist plot.

If you don’t have a car that can drive in snow, don’t drive in snow.

Last blizzard I was in, I had to pull over to try to help two people get up a small hill.

The first woman was afraid to steer while me and and a tow truck driver pushed her up. She wanted one of us to steer her car, but that just couldn’t happen. She ended up paying the tow truck driver more than $300 to tow her.

While that was going on, a Honda Civic ended up sliding backwards down the hill. I pushed that one about 100ft along the road until it leveled out enough to move on its own.

We have a Civic, but it sits in the driveway for blizzards.

If you get serious snow where you’re moving, and you have to drive, get something with all wheel drive. Just remember that all wheel drive doesn’t mean you can stop. You still need to drive like a Granny in Sunday church traffic.

My father-in-law had a brother who looked just like him. His brother was, of course, at his funeral.

My young daughtern did not know that grampop had a brother who looked like him.

She told us afterwards that she was freaked out by this at his funeral.

The bowtie wasn’t the problem.

It’s the person that makes it uncool.

I’d argue that the fact that he stopped wearing the bowties when he was mocked for it says more about him than the bowties do.

We often only get a couple trick-or-treaters every year, and this year was no different, except we left the front door open all night, which means we heard and saw kids walking past our house.

I’m one of the few groups that came to our porch, I heard one girl whisper to her friends, “that’s the creepy house”

So, I guess our house is the haunted house of the neighborhood. I’d be ok with that if we actually had any ghosts.

We’ve been here for over 140 years, and I’ve never seen a single ghost.

Always has been.

That doesn’t explain why she’s on the list instead of the multitude of other, more noxious billionaires.

It makes it look more like someone just doesn’t like TS so they’re trying to say she’s as bad as musk or bezos.

I’m not going to argue that Taylor Swift doesn’t deserve to be on the billionaire list somewhere, but if you were only going to include 4, why would she make the cut?
