Fair enough haha. Decided to look it up myself and apparently it was a trend started by Franklin D. Roosevelt. Newspapers liked using the initials since it saved space in headlines so it kind of stuck around.

I think it’s because the Conservatives are the only ones campaigning right now. I’d imagine once an election is called Trudeau and Singh (or whoever replaces them) will start campaigning a lot more.

I noticed the exact same thing. So many comments either celebrating Trump or just saying that everyone is being dramatic and Trump will be fine. I’ve also seen a lot of comments calling reddit an “extreme left echo chamber” which is just funny
