These sorts of things aren’t resolved in a matter of days or weeks. Depending on how thorough the investigation is, how cooperative all parties involved are, and how much time per week is dedicated to the investigation we could be well into next year before anything is even announced (if anything ever is).

It might have something to do with studios owning the rights to an actors likeness and voice and using them in perpetuity (and maybe even getting the actor to say and do new things with AI) with no compensation given to the actor.
