Well, you have a point there.
Well, you have a point there.
Got banned today because I don’t think socialism would work in 2025 🤷.
I understand people can “Think different”, but a cirkle jerk of US socialists in 2025 sounds like a strabic unicorn with three legs and two horns.
Can you name a commie country that has not ended in a dictatorship?
It feels to me you’re supposing a lot of stuff on top of the few words I wrote, and you started polarising the discussion.
I grown up in a communist family and I felt like for many years of my life, despite living in a democratic land. I’m quite far away from the capiralistic supporter you may think I am.
Let me understand. Do you think Russia, NK, Cambodia, Kuba, PRC, Vietnam and so on are/were good place to live in? Do you live in one of those places?
Yeah, I don’t want to waste too much time around them. I preferred to move further to this place, BS or Mastodon.
Reddit rules are kinda good thing, but instead of prevent exploitation from trolls and bots, it prevent the use from normal persons. Quite useless then.
Socialism, ok, like which one?
Venezuela?
Yep, I saw all of that happening, got shadow banned every time. Didn’t know VPN could be a problem but it seems so.
Do they track the devices too or info from the Android account?
I wonder how they could keep the people on the platform if they do not allow interaction.
Like many, I got kicked out of Reddit. Mainly because Russian, Chonese or religious trolls with a thin skin, but recently I think cause they don’t like too much anti-systemic statements.
Anyway. I would like to keep an account in order to follow the s/BuyFromEU and try to advocate for Lemmy and other decentrilized platforms.
Does someone knows what Reddit gets for info about a user? I mean what exactly they see about my IP address, cookies, devices etc?
It’s inevitable to think capitalism is wrong, but it’s easier to fix than Communism or any other system.
I stopped to shout against capitalism simply cause we do not have a better solution yet. Also when capitalism gets wrong, it’s mostly because a lack of regulations. A balanced system, like socialdemocracies in Scandinavia are a good example.
Unfortunately it seems we are going towards autocracies everywhere, and that’s not capitalism’s fault but just human greediness. So in other word, we’re the problem, otherwise Socialism would reign all over the world.
Read the same story the other day. They missed Hitler’s escalation believing he will never lie to such a point, until he did and then it was too late.
If someone has a dictatorship as a goal, you can’t just fight under the democratic rules, especially if your system is not bullet proof.
I’m not saying “grab a gun”, I’m saying there’s not much time to act. Anyway, this gives me some hope:

I mean, you probably understand that being a new user and already getting banned for small arbitrary stuff gives a “Reddit vibe”.
I must be honest, I haven’t read the rules yet cause I believe I can act like a civil person. A rule that states “do no promote hate”, can be streched to any ban if you want and that’s what Reddit or people in lemmy.ml are doing imo.
Anyway, it wasn’t such a big problem. I like Lemmy and thank you for the effort to make this place working.
That’s why we have to treath them the same way they would treath us.
Initially I thought it was a Russian troll, but probably they’re like my still communist friends. Russia bad (or may even not), but USA anyway worse. People without hope.
Nothing much better here.
Today they canceled me one comment cause of a “Fuck Putin”, while arguing with a Russian troll.
Really thin skin. (on [email protected]).
I would drive back to the seller istantly.
Car is mine. No internet connection if I don’t won’t, no data exchamge with the producer, nothing.
