i mean, some games (cough cough factorio cough cough) manage to use up about 25GB of ram on my system, so it’s nice to have a buffer. now, my 64GB may be considered a bit overkill but i call it future proofing

jokes aside, if the system needs the ram reserved by firefox, the system will get it. it is just faster to rserve ram that is expected to maybe be needed

yeah you see, the issue is, i need Whatsapp for my family, friends and work. i’d rather not use WhatsApp but i aint got a choice (yet, afaik Whatsapp will be forced to work with other apps)

if money is not existent at this point, i will, as mentioned in my original comment, exchange it for something else, be it other goods, or my services as a mechanic, electrician, metal worker, or IT-support (yes i know, kind of an outlier)
