But also I think it just comes down to the how the two groups respond to hierarchy. On a very simplified level leftists see the current hierarchy as negative and are looking to overturn it. Whether peacefully or through force we seek to create a better more just hierarchy. On the other hand conservatives not only like the current hierarchy but are willing to submit to their place in it.

So when a conservative leader says something a conservative doesn’t agree with they keep their head and voice down. Whereas when a leftist leader says something leftists don’t like they are far more willing to rebel against that potential system too.

Kamala spent her campaign shitting on the actual left and trying to appeal to Modern Republicans it didn’t work out for. This is not The fault of the actual left. Shaming people for not voting doesn’t work as we saw in this election and in 2016.

I think what you’re supposed to take away from this is actual left wing candidates who are against genocide did well this election. A big part of why Kamala lost is because she did not have high voter turnout from the left. She spent most of her campaign trying to appeal to moderate right-wing voters who did not vote for her. And she also did not get the turn out of the left because of it. She should have been trying to appeal to farther left voters by promoting actual left Wing ideas and not sicking the police on anti genocide protesters.

But hey it don’t matter, not like we’re ever going to get to vote again anyway
