  • Your belief in the market forces to self regulate In a way conducive to the welfare of man is flawed in its very core. In your system, meaningful choice is limited to those who can afford it, with prices set by those holding the most wealth. This exploits of all but the wealthiest individuals and shrinks the economic middle class, leaving fewer people with real financial agency.

For Anarcho-capitalism to work, corporations would need to operate counter to their natural drive for profit, avoiding any exploitation of their market power without oversight, and would ultimately lead to monopolies. Additionally, a ‘free market’ assumes impossible conditions: perfect knowledge of all products, their availability, quality, production conditions, ownership structures, environmental impacts, and entirely truthful advertising. It also assumes that consumers won’t make decisions based primarily on price. In the absence of these ideal conditions, unregulated markets don’t produce fair or beneficial outcomes for most people.
