  • Ok, get this. You elect politicians to “help slash federal spending”.

What the hell is Musk even doing and why is he outsourcing this job to unpaid idiots, when politicians already get paid to do this?

Okay, I’ll do a few suggestions for free:

    • Stop subsidizing companies. All of them.
    • Tax the rich to boost the federal income.
    • Legalize all immigrants so they can be tax paying citizens.
    • Crack down on employers using illegal underpaid illegal immigrants.
    • Provide universal health care. Sick people don’t work.
    • Cut down on police force spending.
    • Cut down on car infrastructure spending.
    • Cut down “defense” spending in artificial oil wars.
    • Help Ukraine to defeat Russia, so Russia will have to surrender and disarm their nukes, so that USA can also cut down on cost for maintenance of nukes.
    • Expand renewable energy. It’s free energy yo, and it creates jobs for tax paying citizens.
    • Stop mining fossil fuels. It will cost more to clean that shit up than is earned.

  • I’d say that if you do have an opinion and state an opinion on something, then you should also know enough to explain why.

Specifically about politics, it’s scary how many people have an opinion without knowing why. Politics is also something that everyone should have an opinion on, because it affects pretty much everything, so everyone do have an interest in something political. It shouldn’t be based on feelings or the charisma of the candidate or group pressure. It should be based on what affects you and how you’d want it done.

  • Objects are great for game programming.

Stuff like enemies, bullets, loot, items, etc. are constantly changing and affecting each other. This makes it difficult to program in fixed functions that run through and crosscheck a bunch of constantly changing arrays. It makes logical sense to have objects with their own functions stored in dynamic lists instead of arrays. A lot of the properties are used by several different objecs, like coordinates or health points, so it also makes sense to describe them in classes.

So, I’d say that it’s a useful way to classify data that is very dynamic, or when different functions need to run depending on that data.

I don’t like putting all code into classes, because a lot of code doesn’t need that kind of flexibility.

  • That depends on the production and distribution of electricity and not so much the EV.

It’s impossible to state any number that would be correct for all cases, but I would guess with a great deal of certainty that it’s a hell of a lot less than is lost on production and distribution of gasoline.

And even in some crazy home made diesel generator scenario where the power isn’t produced and distributed more efficiently than gasoline, the EV is still about four times more efficient in using the energy after it has been produced and distributed.

  • I think the price is alright, if you like it as it is. It appears to be well maintained, however it will require a major overhaul to make work with any other kind of interior. It might be costly to heat and it would cost a lot to update the windows and heating system.

It’s located close to a large road, the cargo railway, the harbour and industrial areas. The area is build very densely, with neighbors behind every wall. I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily a very noisy place, but it’s definitely not blissfully quiet.

For the right person, it may be cheap, but it’s not exactly what the majority of house buyers are looking for.
