It takes a lot of work, effort and willpower. The possibility of being rejected makes it really hard. But then again it feels so good to just be yourself and witnessing others love you for that instead of in spite of it. Journaling helped me a lot with appreciating those small victories and therefore sticking to it, and also finding out who I am in the first place. Over the years myself and my masks sort of blended into each other and I had a hard time being a real person.

Even though there might be other possibilities, checking the roots is a good move. If the roots are okay, that’s great news and you’re on the safe side. If you discover rot, you can just cut off the bad parts and the repot the plant. That causes severe stress, so it might take a while to recover, but it’s the only way to help with root rot, as otherwise it will only spread, killing the plant in the long term.

Have you tried to disable hide read posts and cleared the hidden posts list (the last option)? Otherwise that calls for a bug, as it should work. Still, a list of last visited would be a nice feature! It seems to be there after all, just not accessible

I have three spider plants that used to take turns spending a month in the windowless bathroom. They’re all fine. There was at least some sunlight coming in from the surrounding rooms though.

It’s all just one room, they moved the desk to the window to make place for a bed.
