Thirties. I was skinny, had thick hair, and I didn’t hurt all over.
Just put one of those “I bought it before I knew Elon was crazy” bumper stickers on it and continue to drive it.
This is true. But we pay for that someone to deal with it. Where I live it can be recycled, composted, or burned for electricity. Landfills are the last resort.
Tim Apple isn’t garbage, but he’s overstayed his welcome. I’m hoping Craig Federighi takes his place.
It’s strange that Kohl’s is dying. Every time I go in there it’s full of customers with long lines at the checkout.
Apple recycles AirPods. There’s no trade in value, but you can bring them to any Apple Store, or fill out the form for a mail in label.
Could be worse. You could vote on a new flag and the winner could be redesigned anyway. See: Minnesota.
Bing is still a thing. Bing offered Apple a boatload of money to be the default search engine in Safari. I’m sure Mozilla could make a deal with Microsoft.
I also wonder if they could just prompt the user to select a search engine from a randomized list, and then get paid from whichever service the user picks?
Some browsers sell placement spaces on the default start page to make money as well. It would be another revenue stream for Mozilla and it’s easily updatable by the user directory don’t want any of these default sites.
Aww. Gruber is mad he was left out of the loop and isn’t such an Apple insider after all.
Nothing special is required if you’re just looking for somewhere to charge. Most third party charging apps will ask you in settings to either select your car model and/or preferred charging plugs.
Now if this CarPlay is some trip planning feature where it automatically fills in stops based on your current range and destination, I can see that requiring some sort of special communication with the car.
As a workaround, I’ve been telling maps to search for “DC fast” when I’m looking for a charger. It’s kludgy, but it seems to work.
I bet you might have a court case if you could prove that the dealer had disabled this advertising “feature” during your test drive.
Restricting EV routing to certain car brands is ridiculous.

Got to wondering after reading this how much coal mining costs in the US (equipment, leases, employees). Expenses, not profits.
How much solar and wind installation could that money buy every year?
Is that an 8-track tape deck? 😉
If you disconnect the car’s cellular network, do the ads go away?
It’s still usable, it just reverts to the old school Roombas. Press clean to vacuum. Press dock to return to charger.
Works fine without the app.
I wonder if this is related to making “chuffing” noises? Perhaps dogs can’t make this noise without shaking their head.
