I’ve really been enjoying ranged touch network of podcasts lately. They have: Baldur’s Gate replay podcasts (mages and murder dad’s), Stephen King book podcasts (just King things), fallout games podcast (too much future), video game academia discussion (game studies study buddies), sci fi/fantasy book club (shelved by genre), A homestar runner retrospective podcast (homestuck made this world)

I think they’re leftists, they’re certainly anti-liberals at least, and they are funny and knowledgeable about things and I always learn more about anything when I listen to their content.

There was lots of Atari/intellivision games my dad and uncles had when I was little. But first first? Probably like Combat though, I have several memories of playing at my great uncles house using the weirdest controller ever built, it had like little picture slides you put in that showed what buttons did what for the game.

Nyt hired a person who’d never been a journalist to provide coverage of Palestine. They had already liked tweets and shit that called Palestinians barbaric scum. And the reporter hired her cousin to provide reports from Israel. She then produced the vast majority of the coverage calling the Oct 7th attack and giant rape campaign by Hamas. Recently the intercept double checked her work and discovered that the original nyt story has no sources backing up its claim, it was all invented wholesale. They did discover that the author had tried to find sources or evidence of the mass rapes and repeatedly been unable to prove it. They still went with the story. Nyt knew this because their own shitty daily news podcast (the daily) wanted to run the story too, but they couldn’t get any sources on the claims of mass rapes on Oct 7 either. Nyt is still backing the claims made in the original piece and the author.

That pretty much it, terrible journalism and they know it but it pushes the narrative the policy makers want so it goes out regardless of merit or truth.

Then what are they fucking complaining about??? They aren’t canceled then?

If the slightest push back from people who aren’t even their fans upsets them so badly then I’m sorry, we might just be dealing with soft little snowflakes. It’s a little criticism, get over it Mr. Rich guy.

The most positive I’ve heard is that it is a by the numbers Bethesda rpg game. It doesn’t try to be anything more. If you liked fallout 4 and skyrim odds are you’ll like this.
