They both gave me links and worked exactly as torrentio did when working. Maybe give them a try.

Librevox was actually where my journey into reading began so yes, ive used it extensively.
It is a great resource for sure but also some readers I absolutely could not stand and would stop listening based on how they read or the way they pronounced stuff that annoyed me. Conversely there are some absolutely great readers on there as well.
This is how I found hat kinds of stories / genres I liked in the first place by just going through their library and listening to random stuff. Finding authors I liked and then bingeing everything I could find of theirs.
I started my journey off with Lovecraft and Edgar Rice Burroughs on there and still go back sometimes and listen to the recordings people have made for librevox. I have a special place in my heart for the caspak trilogy as they were the first books I ever really got into!
Ive never been able to physically read books, I end up getting bored, reading the same page over and over etc I just can’t concentrate on it long enough and as such always thought I didn’t really like books.
Then I discovered audiobooks around 10 years ago.
Now I get through probably 100 plus books each year and fucking love it. I always listen to books at work whilst doing stuff like setting up machines, I’ll listen to them whilst doing chores, or working on my bike or any other kind of task like that.
If I’m not enjoying a book after around half an hour or so I’ll just drop it and move on unless it is something I really want to get into but as ive got older I apply this mindset to a lot more things and find in general it makes things a lot more enjoyable than trying to force stuff I’m not enjoying.
I mainly read fantasy and horror and never read to learn or anything like that, it is purely for enjoyment!
When I did this recently I used Lexicon DJ management (as I’m a DJ and it has lots of other features I was using too).
There are a few options to choose from in terms of how it searches and how strict it is when trying to find duplicates. I’m not sure which features are available on the free version, I paid just for one month to sort out a lot of things within my DJ library but it may be worth looking in to to see if it can serve your needs :)
edit to add more info
Website says - “With Find Duplicates you can scan all your tracks in your library and automatically compare them based on the audio signature or tags. This way truly identical audio duplicates are found. This even works with different file types. If you have an MP3 and a WAV with the same audio, Lexicon will match them and lets you choose which one you want to keep.”
So it doesnt just scan filenames it compares the audio files themselves to weed out duplicates.
Ah yeh, you are right it is the stormlight archive book that is coming the beginning of next month, not more Mistborn. I’m still looking forward to that though!
I finished off Mr Mercedes which was good but probably not high up there in terms of Kings books for me. I think Eyes of a Dragon was his attempted at writing a YA novel for his kids if I remember rightly. I enjoyed it but again not one of my favourite King books.
As always I’ve done a couple of Deathlands books this week and still enjoying it greatly.
I also read Flux by Jeremy Robinson which is the third book in the Infinite series. It was another really good book and another one that really reminded me of Koontz and the way he writes. The end of it ties in really nicely with The Others which was the second book and adds some further back story into the universe and that story that I wasn’t expecting throughout the story which was a nice surprise.
I have the fourth book ready to go and may start on that after a couple more Deathlands books :D
On the side I have spent a few hours editing Underwood and Flinch (by Mike Bennett) podcast releases I have the files for into a cohesive audio book with none of the podcast preamble and shit talking. I’ve listened to it a couple of times already and editing it has tempted me back for another listen which I may so sometime soon. If you’d like a modern day vampire story I strongly recommend checking it out!
I loved the first arc, it was my first Sanderson books but agree the second book is a little slower. I want to revisit the second arc as I haven’t read the newest book and wasn’t paying full attention for the first 2 books really. I think the latest book is release soon if it remember correctly so I may wait for that and then do all the books through from the beginning of the second arc.
I’m looking forward to the third arc more I think although I’m sure that is a while off yet!
I love this book, have read it a few times already and was considering it again recently!
Sorry, should have done so, something like this Nike one.
I believe I currently use a Sondico one which was much cheaper but equally as good as Nike is fairly over priced IMO and you are paying for the logo more than anything.
As someone else mentioned I would recommend a compression type base layer. You can get slightly different thickness ones that will help in different temperatures.
I had a Nike DRI Fit one that lasted for 10 years, and would have lasted me longer if I hadn’t left it on the roof of my car at one point and lost it. You can get far cheaper ones as well though, my current one cost me around £15 and has lasted me 5 years so far and hasn’t stretched out of shape or have any holes in so far and I use it pretty much everyday during the winter ones.
They keep air flowing and move sweet away from your skin to keep you dry as wetness will make you colder.
In my opinion morino wool is one of the worst things I have tried. They make you sweat a lot more, dont move the wetness away from your skin exacerbating the problem and making you feel very uncomfortable and fall apart in no time when compared to compression garments.
I’d say save your expensive wool for some when else.
For other layers I tend to use a cotton t shirt over top the compression layer, maybe two t shirts if it is very cold and then add in things like gloves, something to cover your neck and face and then a wool hat of somekind.
It is always best to be able to remove these layers where possible whilst you are running. In time you’ll find what works with you. I’d often start out with a few more layers for that initial start then once you get going progressively remove stuff until comfortable. I’d always rather be very slightly cold then too warm when running.
As long as you dont turn that feature off it does. You can set it to restart if the device hasn’t been unlocked for between 10 mins and 3 days.
I just estimated how much space I needed and channelled the right spell :p
I mean you only have to change a few words to figure out what they intended to write so I’d say not awake fully?
“In this setting the art of the mage was reading the battle and estimating how much space you need to channel each spell”
At least that is how I read it
I really want to try Unbound, it is the first title that has looked interesting to me in the NFS series for a while it is just a shame that I have to use their launcher, if this wasn’t the case I might actually even be willing to break my rule of not giving EA any money (although I would buy it when it was on deep sale that they have fairly often). Shame.
I have never thought it is worth it, even back when WOW released, the economy was better and I was a teenager with a lot more disposable income I would never pay for a subscription to play a game. It is just a terrible way to run a game and I have always thought that.
I’ve never really understood why people would support that kind of model personally, there has never been a justification in my book.
Back then Guild Wars 1 was and always will be the far superior game when put up against WOW in my personal opinion and once I’d paid for that I could play it every month without further outlay. Shame how they ruined it with GW2 (unpopular opinion I’m sure but I stand by it xD)
Do you have a BTC or ETH address I can donate directly to?
Cheers for all the work you put in, as always!
I mainly worked on 90s Japanese cars, I primarily had MX5s and 200SXs which were mostly alright to work with as they did have minimal electronics. However still getting into the world of management and ECUs was always more complex.
I’ve been out of the world of cars for more than 10 years now as I simply can’t afford to run a car and also afford rent / to eat these days which I have come to terms with but I would never want to work on these horrible modern cars where everything has so many sensors and electronic dependencies.
You can switch off the single tap close for images in the settings.
I haven’t had as many issues with images as you but I wish the bug where it affixes “webp” which causes images not to load would be patched out.
The Nissan NATS system could be an absolute bastard, yeh xD
That looks like it would be hell to pedal in any kind of headwind!
