  • I think Harris wins and I think it will be by a pretty big majority I am not certain on that. It may be possible, but Harris supporters are a pretty vocal group.

Lemmy would have a meltdown (and I’d get plenty of nasty PM’s because I’m vocal that I voted socialist, so they think my vote went to Trump), chaos in the streets, and plenty of dems would be doing EXACTLY what they accuse the Republicans doing–claiming the election was stolen.

They claimed it was stolen in 2016. I never bought either, and there was some smoke but not a lot of evidence of fraud in 2020.

I do expect chaos in the streets and some riots if Trump wins. Several states believe so as well since they activated the guard.

We will have a good idea of how it went on Tuesday but nothing official for a few days.

If Trump does win, Lemmy and Reddit will have a meltdown like few has seen before.

The only reason I think Trump is going to win is that Harris is such a bad candidate. I think they would have won easily if they had run anyone else, even Biden. If Biden has skipped the debate, he would be the next president in my opinion.

  • I am not sure who will win the election yet. It is very close in the polls. Had Harris been a better candidate and ran a better campaign, I think she would have easily beat Trump. While I am a Republican, I don’t like Trump all that much. I don’t really see Trump as a true Republican but I was happy with his time in office.
I am hoping the Republicans can more moderate socially. That is my big issue with the party currently. Abortion should be legal and available to people who want to have an abortion, as it’s none of my business what they do with their bodies. Most Americans feel the same way, but the party has gone far right on abortion.

I am hoping Trump wins, and then Vance is about to become president, running on HIS OWN platform. If you haven’t read his true platform, he is very pro-working class. Not sure many Republicans would vote for him if they knew how left he was on corporations.
