Dude, I fucking love marmite. It took forever to be available in my neck of the woods, but I tried it and vegemite last year for the first time. I actually love both of them, but marmite is my preference for most things.
Marmite is more multiuse, between those two.
Currently, my three favorite uses are as an addition to ramen, on toast with a little butter, and tiny bits on crackers with peanut butter. Yes, you read that right. Don’t judge me ;)
But it’s a great addition to most hearty soups and stews. And it’ll go with stuff like Brussels sprouts if you use it sparingly.
Edit: in case it wasn’t obvious, I’m in the US. Which, I know, that’s not what this community is really for, but have you tried espousing the joys is marmite to most folks in the US?
