We scan a driver’s license and take 360 facial recognition for the purchase and match it to the ID."

So the same ones to screech “Federal firearms registry is against the constitution!” Are just fine with giving way their biometric data for some overpriced ammo?

No thanks, I’ll pay cash at the local farm store.

    This is fucking hilarious.

The “I don’t want a gun registry” guys are perfectly ok with a face tracking system every time you buy ammo??? Lol.

They don’t think the company will immediately turn around and sell this info to the cops / government???

    Fools.

Honestly, I doubt it will see much in sales. I figure most of the sales will be “soccer moms” and “lil old Grandmas” with the occasional hunter. It won’t take long at all for the gang bangers to figure out that these things are a bad idea to buy from, and they don’t contain enough ammunition to be of interest to the gun nuts or sport shooters. They both tend to buy ammo by the pallet if they don’t reload their own ammunition.

Also let’s keep in mind, this is the State that elected Sen. Tuberville on a platform of him having once beat the Crimson Tide in the National Championships and Libs are bad. My fellow Alabamians are often not the brightest bulbs in the box. Although that statement may be a disservice to dim bulbs everywhere.

Damn a non-AI one of these would be convenient as fuck for hunting season since almost 0 rural stores are open 24-7 and rarely open early enough for a morning turkey or white tail hunt. I’m forgetful as fuck and have 2 years ago maybe I sat in Walmart parking lot from 445am to 8am snoozing till I could buy the .270 ammo I forgo5 at home. Hunting property is 1-1/4hr one way.

Edit: meant to say since the pandemic rural stores arent open 24/7.

walmart was already getting rid of the 24/7 hours before covid. the pandemic didn’t have anything to do with the decision. may have sped-up the roll-out some, but they were doing it regardless.

Ah thanks Sam Walton! Lol companies make test changes all the time and renege all the time too. Didn’t blockbuster close all locations but 1 fuckin store or was that a family guy episode. The place was packed 24/7 from being the only store for 3 towns around and a bunch of manufacturing plants running 3 shifts. Their subway and deli were 24/7 how many other walmarts had that lol but I’ll take your word for it😂

How much you wanna bet it takes your face even when you walk by? There was a university vending machine that was caught doing that not too long ago.

Almost makes sense during hunting season, but why the hell would anyone pay the jacked up prices otherwise? It isn’t like they’re going to be keeping really obscure rounds in. It’ll be the most common stuff, and that’s way less expensive online now. And they’d have to price comparatively with dedicated firearms shops, sporting goods, and shooting ranges. I don’t think they’ll get quantity discounts.

Man, I’m lazy as hell when it comes to real world shopping, and there’s no way I’d use something like that unless the prices were the same or lower than our local shop, and I was in a real hurry. Since I’m never in a hurry to buy ammo, I don’t see myself going for it at all.
