Yup. And for something intended for field use only (no target practice), that’s totally fine. If you’re so up close and personal that you’re needing to shoot around corners and don’t need great precision, it’s not like it’ll need to last much longer anyway, just grab a new one for each op.
Yes, but IIRC only for a limited amount of rounds, after which the whole gun is rendered junk

I’m surprised that nobody came up with a gizmo for holding a regular rifle around a corner while keeping the human body behind it.
“Corner Shot” wildly overcomplicated it, but basically it’s a fake rifle at the back and a real pistol at the front, connected by a hinge.
