My life revolves around my kid. So ya. If it makes him happy to be in a car he loves and it fits the families needs, then why wouldn’t I?
Buy a real car, then weld some sheet metal panels to it. It will be 10x safer for your kid and they won’t know the difference.
If he has to get a vehicle why not one his kid likes? What vehicle choice criteria do you find acceptable?
