It’s a good thing then that Donald and his cronies handled the last pandemic so well /s
It is surreal, in a bad way, to watch as the US might actually vote to put itself in mortal danger.
“The enemy doesn’t arrive by boat, but by limousine”
One of them fits the definition vey well, while one, at least, has to stretch the definition for the other.
I’d change “a” to “someone” for better grammar: “America really can’t afford someone competent in the White House right now 😂”. That’s what they meant, right?
Yes, the US has to fix the election system, making it possible to vote on other options that the duopoly without effectively voting against the lesser of two evils. And that won’t happen with a fascist in charge.
The sad truth is that you’re right :/

I had a hunch 😉
Absolutely. And it’s also important to remember that the inhabitants of a group are all individuals with different traits and characteristics. One example could be that there are clearly a lot of batshit crazy republicans, but I’m sure there are republicans who are decent people too. Arnie seems to have mellowed into a pretty ok bloke.

Oliver Zipse, who has long pushed for regulators to permit various technologies - including alternative fuels like e-fuels or biofuels and hydrogen fuel cell cars - said the mood in Europe was “trending towards one of pessimism” and the region needed a new regulatory framework to remain competitive.
There’s probably something to this. But I’d think it’s time to move on. Is this some sort of dogmatic belief system that is thoroughly and blindly beaten into every successive generation?
Fucking knobs.
