On the contrary, zionism is a deeply antisemitic projet. The British Empire was so happy to help colonizing Palestine because it would mean all European Jews could leave. The project is that instead of fixing prejudice against Jews in Europe, they want them to have a state so they can go to that place, abandoning their real roots and lifestyle. Part of the answer to Zionism is actually to destroy anti-Semitism at home so that no one will urge Jewish people to abandon their real land and people, which is whatever nation and community they were raised to.

Another factor here is, people on the far right like ethno-states. They want their own ethnostate and they would also like Jews to go away, so it’s a win-win for them.
