Why Ukraine and why not Israel? It serves our interests more to keep Russia from rolling over Ukraine, but is Israel really so desperate for US aid? They already have loads of weapons. Why is Biden giving away resources to Israel instead of looking after issues more immediate to the USA?
It doesn’t out interest at all. If Ukraine falls it wouldn’t impact America at all. Israel is our counter balance In the Middle East. It’s critical for us.

Israel is not in danger of being wiped out. If Israel managed to murder every single Palestinian, that would not reduce anyones dependency on oil. Explain to me whats that got to do with anything? Israel has to kill children, and hostages apparently, so that we can drive electric cars?
Abandoning Ukraine would have a incalculable effect on US diplomacy and negotiation power across the entire globe. If Putin wins his war of aggression against Ukraine, that would not only guarantee the end of the Ukrainian people, but would encourage Putin to try to take more territory, putting the rest of Europe in danger. This could result in nuclear arms proliferation… I feel like I should not have to explain why it would be bad.
Republicans cheerleading Russia is a sign (among others) that the party has turned away from American ideals of freedom and democracy. It’s the adherence to authoritarian and antidémocratic policies that may have seemed good in the short term, which has led to the decline of the USA as a world leader and why we are no longer a shining example for other nations. It’s so frustrating that conservatives bemoan the deterioration of the nation, when that process has been largely driven by short sighted republican policies.
Nobody is doing that.
